SPEECH is the first and one of the most direct ways we connect with each other. Our studies examine how infants learn to understand speech and begin to build communication skills.

We have two broad objectives:
IDENTIFYING the abilities and biases that infants use when they listen to speech
UNDERSTANDING how speech listening skills change as babies grow and learn about the people and world around them.
About our Research
Our research involves infants between 1 and 18 months of age with different language exposures (English, French, Bilingual, Multilingual).
